Being from the U.K., I had always wanted to visit the States in general, but New York in particular. New York (and LA) is what you see in the movies, and being a big Beastie Boys fan, and a fan of New York Hardcore / Hip Hop / music in general, it had always been my number one destination.
I finally made it to New York in 2020, just before COVID hit. The whole trip was incredible, but one of the top culinary highlight was of course, Bagels. New York bagels are the best, and I don’t feel I need to sample bagels from any other state to say that with my chest. Anyway, they sadly don’t do bagels well in my country, or anywhere else outside of the states for that matter, but we can bring some NY bagel flair to our bread-baking with Soberdough‘s Everything-But-The-Bagel Bread Mix.
