A Vontade’s British Mil Easy Trousers Are Made Up In A Breezy Linen Blend

A Vontade is making it easier to sit in the middle of the ven diagram between hard clothes™ and loungewear with the British Mil Easy Trousers. Inspired by the mid-century British Air Service overpant, these Easy Trousers are a hell of a lot easier to wear than their mil-spec counterparts, and who doesn’t love a good pair of stretchy pants that fit the bill for most occasions?

The Easy Trousers are cut from a rich navy linen cloth made up of a 75% cotton to 25% hemp blend, so they’re easy, and breezy. The breathable fabric combined with that good relaxed straight fit means they’re a no-brainer for laid-back evenings and days out in the warmer months, all the way to putting together a super casual office fit. I can see them dropping nicely with a white tee and sandals but working just as well with a soft-tailored shirt and some suede derbys.

A Vontade took inspiration from the SAS Overpant not just with the fit, but with details like that fancy flap button-closing pocket on the thigh. That cardholder of yours is going nowhere. All constructed in Japan, there’s also a button-closing back patch pocket and thick drawstring-adjustable waistband
