We Snagged Some New Old Stock From Gung Ho

We’re pretty amped about the new old stock Safari Trousers and Single Plat Khakis we got from Stan Ray‘s out of commission Gung Ho line.

Modeled after the modern day BDU pant, the Safari Trousers are great to mix into the rotation because of the pocket flair they bring to the table, looser fit, and adjust-ability courtesy of waist cinches and drawstrings at the ankles. Cut from a slightly heavier 100% cotton twill than the usual ripstop used in repro military cargos, they are substantial but easy – so look forward to a more satisfying break in period without losing the ability to wear them in hotter conditions.

Let’s get into those Single Pleat Khakis. A truly iconic style, you can stand out in a crowd of Ben Davis and Dickies with these slim-straight khakis that are more beach-town skater than anything else. That caramel color is begging to be worn with anything from loafers and boat shoes to sandals or Chuck Taylors, and look darn good in the process.

And when we said NOS earlier, we meant it! Tucked away for 20 years these are certified deadstock and are looking to be aired out in the new millennium. So if you want a break from raw denim, khakis, and the same old fatigues, here is a chance to have some fun experimenting with a new style which puts a new spin on everything you’ll pair it with.

Available for $132 & $98 respectively from the Heddels Shop
