Sugar Cane Garment-Dyed These Tees With Natural Indigo

These Sugar Cane by Toyo Enterprises S/S Natural Dye T-Shirts are for the indigo heads. Sugar Cane has been using a lot of natural indigo these days, from jeans to jackets, and now these stunning garment-dyed T-Shirts. The technique of dying with natural indigo is time-consuming, laborious, and requires a lot of attention to detail — kind of like a lot of what we cover here at Heddels.

With natural indigo, you’re able to achieve rich natural hues with complexity, and you end up with something wholly unique. There’s a human element to natural indigo dying that is hard to replicate, and so natural indigo dying in Japan is usually done by a skilled craftsperson, one who’s trained in the centuries-old art of dying with our favorite dried flower.

These 100% cotton tees contain 30% recycled cotton, are cut into a relaxed fit, and are discharge printed with the “TOYO” Enterprises character logo. They come in two shades of light and deep indigo that are both bound to fade beautifully with time.
