Redcast Heritage and Tanuki are going mad(der) with their first collab. Redcast has been stocking Tanuki since they started out, so it’s great to see the Spanish denim store working with the Japanese denim label to create something that is truly unique – the “Homura” Akane Overdye Slim Straight Jeans.
Madder root dye has been used to overdye these nicely textured 16.5 oz. jeans, ‘cos a collab with Redcast calls for something red in hue. Slim straight with a form-fitting top block, the Homura has a nice roomy calf and leg opening for all the chunky boots you can throw at it, and of course, all those slimmer vintage sneakers. You can bet that the red will reveal itself even further as you wear the jeans in, and if you don’t cuff these to show off that bloody madder color, we’ll be disappointed.
Details on these unique 5-pocket jeans include a Redcast x Tanuki leather patch, Tanuki back pocket embroidery, rivet reinforcements throughout, and HBT pocket bags. Since these are garment dyed, you can expect minimal shrinkage with a cold wash and line dry.
