Unmarked’s New Chelsea Boot Is Simply Stunning

If my managing editor had pinged me and said, “Yo – you’ve got another Chelsea boot to write about,” I wouldn’t have been immediately enthused. Thankfully I opened up my assignments this week without any heads up because . . . Well, this is a beautiful Chelsea boot from Unmarked and I would have been an idiot not to look into it some more.

You know how Chelsea boots have been a thing for some years now? How you’ve seen them all, everywhere, and already have the pair that works for you be it Blundstone, Redback, or some other brand? Set aside what you think you know about Chelsea boots for a moment to approach these beauts with fresh eyes.

Unmarked spent a year coming up with this design, and it shows. Starting from the bottom and working up, the boots you see here have a U.K.-made Itshide Commando sole that’s both rugged and smart. The upper is a rather refined black Horween Chromexcel leather that pairs well with the more agricultural Itshide sole. Unmarked opted for vegetable tanned leather for both the insole and footbed, and under the insole is a natural cork that’ll give some extra comfort whether you’re walking for miles on man-made materials or on some loamy earth.

Constructed in Mexico with full 360-degree welt and lined with calf leather, Unmarked done did it with its new Chelsea boot. Be sure to check them out for $440 directly from Unmarked
