Redcast Heritage Becomes Latest Stockist Of The Flat Head Denim

For fans of The Flat Head, the last five years has been quite a rollercoaster. First, the brand disappeared off the scene. Then it was back, kinda, but not fully. But now more and more retailers are carrying it again, and the new releases coming from TFH are better than ever.

Just added to the list of Flat Head retailers? None other than Redcast Heritage. The pieces just added to its site are the 3009 14.5 oz. Straight Tapered Jeans and the 3002 14.5 oz. Slim Tapered Jeans. Each pair is adorned with branded iron buttons, copper rivets, and a vegetable-tanned deerskin leather patch.

Both are crafted in Japan out of TFH’s stellar 3XXX denim. High contrast and super fast fades are the well-known qualities of this iconic modern raw selvedge denim. Redcast chose to carry the unwashed version of this denim so that you get all of the enjoyment of feeling this denim change. Before being washed, the 3XXX denim appears smooth and has a dry and rough hand feel to it. Once soaked, the denim’s slub becomes apparent as well as the denim’s hairiness.

As per Redcast, plan on soaking these jeans in hot water and expect up to 1.5” in shrinkage in the waist and up to 3” in the inseam length.

Both pairs are available for $253 USD from Redcast Heritage
