TCB Playfully Reproduces 1920s Carhartt Chore With Its ‘Cathartt’ Denim Chore

For someone whose wardrobe is stacked with workwear, I was elated to cover TCB’s latest workwear-inspired jacket. The Two Cats Brand just got wild and did its own take on a 1920s Carhartt chore coat with the ‘Catharrtt’ 10 oz. Denim Chore Coat and I, for one, am geeked.

Removable heart-shaped buttons adorn this total winner, along with an angled watch pocket, and TCB’s take on the original Carhartt ‘Master Cloth’ label from Carhartt jackets of yore. The 10 oz. denim has a looser weave than what TCB usually opts for, but it also chose to use a 100% synthetic indigo for the jacket which has resulted in this mid-weight Chore having more of a blue-ish tinge. Another neat feature is a square collar and center joint, only further emulating Carhartt jackets of the past.

Lastly, the sizing on this means that it’s recommended that you size down from your usual TCB size. If you’re unsure, though, reach out to the great people over at Redcast Heritage who are always on hand to help you find your size.
