Nanamica Riffs On 90s Outdoors Fleeces With Its Pullover Sweater

Fall is most definitely the time to bust out the fleeces, the time of the year when you could mistake an average geography teacher for a fellow jawns enthusiast. In all seriousness though, a solid fleece is most certainly something to invest in for this season as its versatility and comfort truly know no bounds, and Japanese powerhouse Nanamica‘s Pullover Sweater simply cannot be ignored.

As the name sadly doesn’t suggest, this is in fact the brand’s ode to vintage outdoor fleeces but of course maintaining the brand identity we’ve come to know and love. Made from a mohair blend fabric that has been brushed to mimic the texture of old but maintain the warming properties of the fabric, the whole thing has an oversized and very relaxed fit pretty synonymous with the Japanese brand, which can be even more emphasized when the contrasting front snap closure is worn fully open, and contradicted only slightly by the elasticated cuffs and hem to add some structure.

Absolutely no external branding on this piece gives it a super clean look. It’s available at Wallace Mercantile in both black and khaki options, priced at $346.
