Hiroshi KATO Renders Its Blade Trucker Jacket In 16 Wale Stretch Corduroy

Hot take — a corduroy trucker jacket could be just as iconic and essential to any rotation as its denim counterpart. I’ll let that stew for a bit. Okay, let’s go with just as essential to your wardrobe. I’m not trying to spark an endless debate here.

Kato has provided some healthy ammunition if said debate was ever to take place in the form of this alternative rendition of their Blade Jacket dressed in a 16-wale stretch corduroy. Made in the USA from a 97%/3% cotton/polyurethane split which has been garment dyed for that slightly worn-in look, this piece takes clear inspiration from our beloved, Levi’s Type 1, which is lesser seen silhouette when it comes to corduroy truckers.

With its own modern fit and added comfort from that slight stretch in the fabric, this unique piece comes fitted with branded buttons and triple-stiched seams in all the right places allowing this piece to last a lifetime.
