A Vontade Renders The Iconic Jungle Jacket In 9 Oz. Denim

If a denim jacket and a classic jungle jacket got together and had an outerwear child, you’d be left with A Vontade’s 9 oz. Denim Jungle Fatigue jacket.

Designed out of Tokyo by Mr. Yamakawa and produced in Japan, A Vontade draws its inspiration from classics in American and European; workwear, sportswear, and military garments. This particular take on the jungle jacket is contemporary, but one we can certainly get behind.

Constructed from a 9 oz. warp and weft yarn-dyed double indigo denim, A Vontade’s take on this military classic draws inspiration from the US military jackets made for subtropical use in the 60s and 70s. The jacket features a concealed button front, four frontal stow pockets with flap button closures, strap side adjusters, and button-adjusted cuffs. Lots of buttons and adjusters, but it is a utility jacket after all. The elbow patches and sleeve gussets adopt a BDU format, offering a more relaxed fit through the arms, making this piece an easy wear over pretty much anything.
