Our latest edition of Fade Friday looks into the world of Taqy over in Indonesia and his Iron Heart IH-777Ns. Worn for the last 3.5 years since his 4th semester at university, these jeans have clearly played an active role in our guy’s day-to-day – they look like they have their own nervous system!
From cycling, hiking, and camping to attending class, you can almost see the road, trails, and curriculum on the surface of these jeans through the denim evolution, fades, creases, and crocking. Now employed as an engineer — this is where the story goes from pretty cool to full-on passionate. Since he is wearing overalls all day at the workshop and on job site, you’d think he wouldn’t be getting his denim reps in, but that’s where you’d be wrong. He’s wearing these Iron Hearts underneath the whole time, sonny! And is that not the mark of someone who truly loves to wear their clothing – when it can’t even be seen by the world?
Undergoing zero surgeries so far, they have a fantastic symmetry to them that you could get lost in. It’s almost like they are ready to be hung up on the wall as art. But we get the feeling Taqy has other plans.
