Grant Stone Offers Up Its Field Boot in Crimson Chromexcel

It hasn’t been long since Grant Stone premiered its most rugged boot yet, the Field Boot, and they’re already loading up the fire make-ups. This time around, GS is offering up Crimson Chromexcel, a Horween-made Aniline pull-up leather that simply oozes class.

Built on their Floyd boot last, which features a roomy toe and footbed, Grant Stone’s Field Boot is perfectly suitable for prowling the hunting grounds all day long, or just bopping around your favorite hunting looking for coffee and pastries. Horween leather ain’t nothin’ to sniff at, either, let me tell you. Pull-up chromexcel leather is gonna stay vibrant and dark over time, but in the areas of pulling (hence the name), the lighter-in-hue core of the leather shows through – making for a pretty patina effect in the end.

There’s a lot to like about these robust steppers and the details speak for themselves. Goodyear welted construction (that means these can be resoled for years to come), kip leather lining, brass hardware throughout, speed hooks, veg-tan leather insole, leather midsole, padded collar, leather heel counters, and a ridged rubber wedge sole with a branded leather tablet.

Available for $380 from Grant Stone.
