First up, the BDDXDR-711 in double indigo, for those who like an extreme amount of indigo to chip away at on their fade journey. This midweight 14 oz. Collect Mills denim is gonna soften up nicely with time spent wearing and washing, but more importantly, is going to fade a vivid blue thanks to double the indigo yarns used in the milling. If you’ve never worn a double indigo jean before, these are an exceptionally special pair to try for the first time. They’ve got a white selvedge ID to contrast with all that blue, blackened zinc buttons on the fly, a black leather waist patch, and blackened nickel rivets.
The second jean in the collab is the BDDXDR-711 in black/ecru. This is a solid option for those who love black denim but want something a little different, and it’s not every day you find a black warp/ecru weft denim. Those black warps are going to fade away over time to reveal nice off-white fades that’ll definitely be Fade Friday-worthy. The black/ecru variant jeans feature a red selvedge ID, brass metal button fly, and a natural vegetable-tanned leather patch.
Neither of these jeans is going to fade like your average indigo/white-yarned fare, but that’s the fun of these.
