Division Road — always bringing you the exclusive goods. This time, they’ve got some rare and dark-hued jeans for you to gobble up before they’re gone forever: The Benzak Denim Developers x Division Road BDDXDR-711 High Tapered 14 oz. jeans in two contrasting denim options.
Benzak is always making the good stuff, these high-rise, tapered-leg jeans included, they look to be a versatile jean that’ll style well on most people – there’s a reason straight tapered jeans are the most popular. They just look good.
First up, the BDDXDR-711 in double indigo, for those who like an extreme amount of indigo to chip away at on their fade journey. This midweight 14 oz. Collect Mills denim is gonna soften up nicely with time spent wearing and washing, but more importantly, is going to fade a vivid blue thanks to double the indigo yarns used in the milling. If you’ve never worn a double indigo jean before, these are an exceptionally special pair to try for the first time. They’ve got a white selvedge ID to contrast with all that blue, blackened zinc buttons on the fly, a black leather waist patch, and blackened nickel rivets.
The second jean in the collab is the BDDXDR-711 in black/ecru. This is a solid option for those who love black denim but want something a little different, and it’s not every day you find a black warp/ecru weft denim. Those black warps are going to fade away over time to reveal nice off-white fades that’ll definitely be Fade Friday-worthy. The black/ecru variant jeans feature a red selvedge ID, brass metal button fly, and a natural vegetable-tanned leather patch.
Neither of these jeans is going to fade like your average indigo/white-yarned fare, but that’s the fun of these. Trying something new and unique can be an important step in your style journey — especially when it comes to the choice of your jeans! Mix it up, folks. Both jeans are sanforized and will stretch a bit with wear (up to 1″) and shrink back down .5″ with a cold wash — so you’re all set to take your normal fitted size — and come with the following Benzak quality details including: a metal button fly, 10 oz. chambray pocket bags, 7 different sewing threads in their construction, a hidden sixth pocket with selvedge ID detail. All made in Japan.
Both pairs are priced at $325 and available exclusively at Division Road.
