Studio D’Artisan Rendered the Lee Stormrider Silhouette in Sumi-Dyed Sashiko

Studio D’Artisan knows it doesn’t get much better than the Lee Rider jacket style, until it does, with their new Sumi Dyed “Stormy Rider” Sashiko Jacket. Black denim is cool and all, but Sumi-ink dyed 100% cotton yarns are low-key cooler, and unlike anything else you own. What you get (and what you’ll end up with after some wear) is a contrasted and multi-toned black and grey effect, much like a piece of art rendered in ink or graphite, the depth of these sashiko threads can’t compare to mere sulfur dyed cotton yarns.

The fabric is the star of the show, here, but SDA’s slimg-fitting Stormy Rider Jacket still comes complete with iconic Lee Rider jacket reproduction details, like: Japanese-milled wool blend blanket lining, black coated metal buttons throughout, iconic slanted and welted front flap chest pockets, reinforcing front yoke, side hem button adjusters, and adjustable cuffs.

Available for $505 from Corlection while stocks last.
