Black denim is cool and all, but Sumi-ink dyed 100% cotton yarns are low-key cooler, and unlike anything else you own. What you get (and what you’ll end up with after some wear) is a contrasted and multi-toned black and grey effect, much like a piece of art rendered in ink or graphite, the depth of these sashiko threads can’t compare to mere sulfur dyed cotton yarns.
