RRL’s Slim Fit Jeans are Made in USA & Back for Another Season

If I could choose a wardrobe comprised of only one brand, RRL would be at the top of my list. Every collection from the Daddy of Americana contains a plethora of pieces that have me salivating in my chair, and its slim-fit premium selvedge jeans are no exception.

Ralph Lauren’s passion for the American West is evident in every piece in the RRL collection, season after season. The brand, which takes its name from his sprawling 17,000-acre cattle ranch in southwestern Colorado, combines a relentless attention to detail with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.

Crafted in the U.S.A. from a range of mid-weight selvedge denims, the pants – which have been woven on vintage Draper shuttle looms – feature a hand-set, chain-stitched waistband with inserted belt loops for added durability, a selvedge coin pocket, a leather “RRL” debossed waist patch, and a reinforced button fly. Parts of the pants have been hand-finished, a process that involves specialized tools and techniques, as well as 50 individual steps to complete.

Coming in four selvedge denim fabrics —  from one-wash indigo (which has been sanforized to minimize shrinkage) to double black denim and the heavily processed ‘Otisfield Wash’ — there is something for everyone looking for a pair of slim fit, American-made selvedge denim jeans, here.

As soon as you pull on these bad boys, a harmonica spawns in your pocket, a bottle of vintage bourbon on your side table, and a pair of beat-up ropers on your feet. Unfortunately, that’s not true, but you’ll definitely feel as though it is.
