Anatomica’s Skipper Polo is Inspired by British Army Sportswear

Thirty years in and Anatomica is still at the top of its game, blending past and present perfectly with the Skipper Polo.

Taking inspiration from sportswear polo shirts issued to the British Army and RAF, Anatomica created something that oozes mid-century cool. A lack of buttons and a spread collar leaves for a small V-neck opening, a perfect place to hang your sunglasses. It’s made in Japan from a light blend of cotton and rayon and features a seamless shoulders for a clean look.

The Skipper Polo is really Anatomica doing what they do best, looking at beautiful, often utilitarian, clothes from the past through a European-meets-Japanese lens – a process that results in high-quality staples with a healthy dose of nuance.
