Whether biking, boarding, or hiking, if speed is what you’re after, you need a way to track it. Australian lifestyle brand Deus and Swiss watchmaker Breitling have teamed up to make an attractive timekeeper in their Top Time collaboration chronograph watch.
As we’ve explored in the past, a chronograph is an impressive mechanical combination of standard clock timekeeping and a stopwatch available at the press of a button. Deus have looked back to Breitling’s original chronograph, the Top Time, which was designed and introduced in 1964 by the grandson of Breitling’s founder, Willy Breitling. The sleek 41mm stainless steel case features a cobranded black dial with three chronograph subdials, and a unique red lightning bolt second hand, all surrounded by a tachymeter to keep pace. It’s all powered by Breitling’s house-made BO-1 automatic movement, that’s visible through the clear sapphire caseback.
Deus’s part of the collection includes a set of cobranded tees and sweats, including multiple colorways of their Patrol Tee, Drugstore Crew, and College Hoodie. All are made from 100% recycled cotton knit into heavyweight jersey.
If you want a crack at Top Time, this limited collaboration is available for $8,250 at Breitling and starting at $78 at Deus.
