Left Field NYC Sews Up Chinos from Japanese Deep Indigo Selvedge Duck

Okay, so you got the blues. Because you want some blues. Without actually getting the blues. For anyone who doesn’t speak denim, let us break it down. You want the indigo-laced goodness and rich hues of denim without the heft, texture, or even shape of your go-to pair of jeans. After all, everyone needs a break once in an indigo-blue moon.

Left Field NYC is answering this riddle with the Left Field NYC Deep Indigo Duck Chinos. They’re made from 12 oz. selvedge cotton duck from Japan’s Nihon Menpu mill, which contains deep-indigo dyed yarns that give rise to attractive high-contrast fades with wear. Don’t believe me? Left Field has the receipts – just check the images above.

Each pair is made in the USA with a slim-straight fit and some lovely details – reproduction 40s style work buttons, a vintage-style pocket watch pocket, and an old-timey woven exterior patch. You might be wondering where these have been all your life but it’s okay, they’re here now.

Available for $230 from Left Field NYC.
