With boot season upon us, it is time to break out the heavy socks and remind ourselves how to use speed hooks. But one thing we don’t need to remember how to do is suffer for the sake of fashion. Sure your heritage footwear probably looks cool but if it’s not performing in the comfort department, you aren’t alone.
Luckily Division Road & Arch Support Project has our feet, specifically our arches, in mind. This collaboration consists of 3 murdered-out silhouettes including a Workman Chelsea, a Military Moc, and an Alpine Hiker. Each pair combines expert craftsmanship and classic designs with signature leather arch support to keep you feeling as good as you look. So as well as getting a sexy new pair of boots, your podiatrist will be off your back, too.
“Launched in 2024, the Arch Support Project aims to create the next generation of handcrafted footwear. Each style embodies a unique timelessness with the soul of tradition. ASP is designed to interpret ergonomics architecturally by engineering leather with rare hand-construction methods — instituted and perfected in a workshop in South China — created and led by the renowned master shoemaker Rock Yeh.” – Division Road
Handcrafted in China using whole-cut Nero Vachetta 800 Calf Leather from Italy, these hand-lasted boots feature whole-cut uppers formed from one piece of leather, which are hand-adjusted for one month while the leather conforms to the last. Each pair is closed out with custom Gumlite Vibram soles proving that walking the walk is easy…with the right support.
