Ever pop into your local coffee shop and get serious envy at how great all their equipment looks? This V60 pour over set from Hario in a beautiful olive wood will definitely put an end to this.
All crafted in Japan, the set features Hario’s classic V60 glass dripper, sitting on an olive wood stand with its unique mottled dark brown grain to create something that will take pride of place on your kitchen counter. This is complemented by Hario’s glass Range server, which at 600ml is big enough to make a filter brew for 2-3 (or even more for yourself). If you need any pointers for brewing pour-over coffee in a V60, we will defer to the Hoff.
Though it doesn’t just look good, it will make your filter coffee taste better, too. First introduced by Hario in the 1950s, the V60 takes its name from the 60-degree angle of the cone, which allows you to get the maximum level of extraction from your coffee grounds. Spiral ridges and a lack of flow restriction allow you to pour the water quickly or slowly to get your pour over as delicate or heavy as you prefer, and the heatproof glass means that you don’t lose any heat during the pour-over process.
Function over form? Not anymore.
