When one thinks of indigo-dyed garments, one of the few brands that come straight to mind is Blue Blue Japan<\/strong><\/a>. Season in and season out, the Japanese label is one of the greater champions of indigo dying and you’re guaranteed for at least a few interesting surprises in each collection.<\/p>\n

This time around? Indigo-dyed nylon. Applying a traditional, centuries-old natural dying process to a contemporary, lightweight, and windproof technical fabric\u2014something you would never associate with old world craftsmanship\u2014is made all-the-better by a subtle unevenness thanks to overdyeing<\/a>, and in my opinion, it makes the piece. The hooded jacket is partially lined, features a buttoned stand collar, a zip front, dual pockets at the chest and again at the hips, and an adjustable hemline.<\/p>
