Fades controversy no more? After featuring<\/a> Dennis Santarinala’s jeans last month in our Fade of the Day<\/a>, we were sure his method of hand distressing his jeans would cause a firestorm, but it didn’t. Well, he’s back with another pair that he’s done up in a week’s time.<\/p>\n

This pair of\u00a0Nudie<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>Lean Dean Japan Selvedge got their fades<\/a> with Dennis’ technique of using a rage and diluted bleach water at different ratios. On Dennis’ previous pair, he waited 3 months before beginning his hand-fading regimen, but this time it only took 3 wears for the creases he wanted to set in. He says the back isn’t done yet as he’s yet to finish the honeycombs<\/a>. To Dennis that’s fine though, as he treats his hand fading as something more akin to painting.<\/p>
