Andy in Los Angeles, CA had the humble desire to have a “unique fade” on his Nudie Jeans<\/strong><\/a> and after 8.5 years, I think he’s achieved that and then some. And then some more, just for good measure. Over the course of nearly a decade, Andy has worn them religiously on and off the clock, washing them 5 times and soaking<\/a> them twice. So, to recap, these jeans have touched water one time less than the number of years Andy has had them.<\/p>\n

Now, they don’t have insane contrast that some people go for but instead have a lot of depth and layers which are great to dig into. They are “post-fade”. For instance, there are remnants of whiskers<\/a> that have probably faded away with the rest of the lap. Looking at the honeycomb<\/a> region, you’d think you had on 3-D goggles — not because of the contrast necessarily — but the physical ridges!<\/p>
