Temperatures have finally begun to dip here at Heddels HQ and that’s when wool resurfaces its fuzzy head into our homes and wardrobes. We’ve got just the tickets from the historic Faribault Woolen Mill Co. via our friend Sam in New York. Faribault Woolen Mill Co. was established in 1865, right after the end of the Civil War, along the Minnesota’s Cannon River. And over 150 years later, they’re still doing it much the same, completely vertically integrated to make a soft and hard wearing product that will last for generations.

Our friend Sam of Strauss-Malcolm happened upon a run of historical US Navy blankets that Faribault had simply forgotten to print “US NAVY” onto, so they were labeled as seconds.
