No, today&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heddels.com\/fades\/fade-of-the-day\/\">Fade of the Day<\/a> doesn&#8217;t belong to Frankenstein&#8217;s monster, but to Illinois-based Nate Robbins. Jokes aside, this is a stunning one-off piece of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heddels.com\/fades\/\">faded<\/a> denim glory\u2014a custom-made noragi-style jacket patched together\u00a0from vintage jeans\u2014made by Nate himself.<\/p>\n<p>As a lover of Japanese culture and all things denim, Nate built this patchwork piece last year\u00a0after learning how to sew. The construction itself is nothing short of genius\u2014notice how the plackets are parts of old waistbands with the belt loops left intact. And although this isn&#8217;t our usual formula for Fade of the Day, you can&#8217;t deny the wabi-sabi beauty and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heddels.com\/2015\/09\/patina-what-and-how-and-where-does-it-develop\/\">patina<\/a> of each indiviual patch on\u00a0of the jacket.
