Fans of the famously irregular weave on Oni’s signature heavyweight denim are going to lose their minds over this jacket. The Oni Secret Denim Jean Jacket comes in a Type III style and has all that we’ve come to expect from one of their pieces:  loose-tension weave, irregular texture, and superb craftsmanship.

The jacket is made in Japan and is washed once, so there’s no need to worry about shrinkage. The warp is, of course, indigo, but the weft has been dyed beige, to give the look of wild, naturally occurring cotton. The result is a rustic-feeling fabric that fades well. Dual chest pockets, front pleats, selvedge placket, waist adjusters, and, this time, discrete tonal hand pockets make this Type III complete the package.
