Fade Friday – A.P.C. Petit Standard (3 Years, 3 Washes)

Wake up and smell the jeans (but only if they’re clean)–it’s time for another weekly dose of Fade Friday with this pair of well-worn up A.P.C. Petit Standards. Heddels reader Lachaud Jordan, of France, has rocked this pair for more than three years, and earned himself something worth bragging about in the process to become this week’s Fade Friday.

Lachaud put it plainly to us when asked what it is that he did to achieve such radical fades on his jeans: he wears them a lot, and walks a lot. The resulting wear marks check off all our favorite qualities for excellent fade greatness, from the sharp, contrasty whiskers to tightly formed honeycombs, and even some stacks around the ankles.

These jeans have lightened up a good amount over time, though they have only seen water a mere three times in their lifespan! There haven’t been any repairs to date, but Lachaud thinks that might be changing soon.
