It’s always fun to take a look back in time to that first leap into the world of raw denim. In this case, Heddels reader Dhanainun Dhanarachwattana from Thailand shared with us a tale of trials and tribulations with his pair of LVC 1933 501xx‘s.

As we all know, ordering the right size can be a nightmare, especially as a noobie. These jeans were ordered slightly too big, yet Dhanainun persisted and gave them the hottest soaks possible to maximize shrinkage. Months later, after some weight loss and even more stretching of the denim fabric, he decided to give the jeans to a good friend who took over where he left off, to give these babies the life they deserve (it helps that they fit his friend better, too).
