Never one to shy away from reimagining a classic, England’s Private White V.C. continues to iterate upon the Mechanic Jacket by utilizing a super soft, super tough moleskin fabric. Experiencing something of a comeback in recent years, moleskin is known for its durable strength and deep roots in workwear and military garments. Given its hardwearing nature and history, the material only accentuates the look, feel, and value of the workwear staple.

Staying true to form, the English heritage brand maintained the cropped style, snap buttons along the cuffs and waistband, and traditional collar and chest pockets. However, it wouldn’t be a Private White piece without layering on some of their own touches to create an even cleaner aesthetic. That includes two additional side seam pockets, a slimmer cut in the arms and, of course, custom copper hardware throughout.
