Blue Owl Workshop and Pure Blue Japan Offer Triple the Fades

New year, new fades. If you’re in need of a project to keep you occupied this year, then you’re in luck, because Pure Blue Japan has teamed up with Blue Owl Workshop to create a denim-duo with triple the fading potential.

Made from Pure Blue Japan’s infamous 18oz. unsanforized raw denim, the PBO-001 comes in two popular PBJ fits—Slim Tapered and Relaxed Tapered. This time around, PBJ’s ultra-slubby fabric has been subject to a multi-layer dyeing process, which involves over-dyeing the indigo warp yarns with black pigment. In doing so, Pure Blue Japan has achieved a matte-black denim that offers a triple-threat fade experience, breaking down from black to worn indigo to chalky white.

Finished with a blue selvedge ID, chanstitched hems, copper rivets and a branded nickel button fly, these special edition jeans are made in Japan and come complete with a custom grey deerskin leather waist patch and embroidered Blue Owl branding on the rear pocket to mark the occasion.

Both cuts are available exclusively at Blue Owl Workshop for $350.
