Bellingham, WA’s own, Daniel Knight, recently shared the lovely soft fades of his 17-month-old Roy KS1002s, and needless to say we liked ’em enough that they’re taking today’s place as Fade of the Day.

As a jean worn in rotation amongst others in his closet, this pair hasn’t been pushed to its full fade potential. But that’s OK, as time’s a plenty for Daniel and life’s a marathon not a sprint, right? All it does is stretch out the process, allowing Daniel to enjoy the evolution longer.

His Roys are now in that gorgeous phase where enough fading has occurred to shed indigo throughout, but not enough to get too contrasty, leaving him with the most epic tone of blue; somewhere between electric blue and cobalt. The honeycombs are starting to shred, and the whiskers have a most graceful bow to them.
