There’s no doubt that British denim is on the rise, and while Dawson Denim was making waves in the raw denim scene, fellow English manufacturers, Joe & Co., were working away in the heart of Lancashire, building solid denim goods like this pair of Arkwright Slim Tapered Jeans.
These jeans are built from sanforized 13.5oz. raw selvedge denim, woven from Zimbabwean cotton at the esteemed Nihon Menhpu Mills in Japan. Coming in a contemporary fit, these jeans feature a regular rise with a slim leg that tapers down to a narrow hem opening. Joe & Co. make each pair in the old mill town of Blackburn, finishing them with leather-backed rivets, antique brass donut buttons, 11oz. cotton pocket bags, chainstitched hems and waistab, and a custom branded cowskin waist patch.
Made to celebrate Joe & Co.’s 10th anniversary, the Arkwright Slim Tapered Jean is limited to just 75 pairs, and each order comes complete with a commemorative pin badge and tote bag.
Available for from Joe & Co. for $348(260GBP).
