Surprisingly, no, this is not a collab between Paraboot and Engineered Garments. It looks like something they would do, doesn’t it? Rather, it’s a sweet little patchwork number done in cahoots with London-based brand, YMC. The Michael shoe showcases several tones of calfskin and suede patched together to make this quintessential grandpa shoe somehow even more grandpa-esque.

Familiar Paraboot design choices are found throughout, including the Norwegian welt, the chunky rubber outsole, and full-grain leather. I have no reason to believe these will break in any easier than standard Paraboots, which would be a bonus, but once they are broken in they’re as comfortable as can be.
