If you keep a calendar, mark it (if you don’t, I envy you in general) because New York Denim Days is coming to Manhattan’s Metropolitan Pavilion on June 8 and 9.

Back with their inimitable collection of “activations, brands and collaborations”—each of which is designed to spotlight the distinct and universal nature of indigo—this year’s Denim From the Ground Up-themed festival promises to be one of the most impressive yet.

“We have developed some creative ways of displaying our theme, ‘Denim From the Ground Up,’ for this edition of New York Denim Days with an interactive display and several places for great photo-ops,” said Tricia Carey, Director Global Business Development of title sponsor TENCEL™ Denim.

Because adults aren’t the only ones who should get to have fun with denim, Osh Kosh B’gosh will be there this year as well, and kids under 12 get in free.

Other highlights include the Denim Talks Speaker Series, Denim Days Music, a kids fashion show, a high school design contest, the Rare Sneaker Exhibit from @Just4kicksdaily, the 18th Street Vintage Denim Market and more, with live entertainment happening throughout.

Tickets are just $7 online ($10 at the door), so you know what to do. Oh, and students get in free too with a student ID.
