Sugar Cane’s SC41822 Work Pants Hit The Nail On The Head

You might have found yourself here thinking this will be another gloriously written piece on jeans – well, you’re only half right ‘cos these are not jeans, they’re the 11 oz. Blue Denim Work Pants from Sugar Cane.

Made in Japan from raw denim, these on-point painters have an overall relaxed silhouette with a deep rise and wide hem. The 100% cotton denim is woven on a shuttle loom with rope-dyed indigo yarn for the warp and gray yarn for the weft– a concoction that will lead to some subtle, shimmering fades.

These also don’t follow the usual 5-pocket system found on jeans, because, well, they’re work pants! The quintessential hammer loop and plier pockets are of course present, even though, let’s face it, I don’t think any of us will actually be “working” in these. All outseams and inseams come felled and triple stitched just in case you did fancy putting these through their paces.
