Fade Friday – Naked & Famous Dirty Fade Selvedge (2.5 Years, 2 Washes, 2 Soaks)

Bruno over in Chicago has some jeans he wanted to show off if that’s alright with you all. It’s certainly alright with us, considering they are a quintessential example of well-faded jeans that just make you want to immediately put on a pair of jeans. Coming at us from Naked & Famous, the Canadian kingpin of raw denim once again affirms they are much more than a novelty act. Well, I guess Bruno helped too.

Through tons of bike rides, hikes, and general wear over the course of  2 years and 7 months, not only is Bruno showing off how much he gets out of his pajamas and goes outside, he’s painting a great cheat sheet about how he’s achieved such desirable lines ‘n’ creases ‘n’ such.

Giving off pure sunshine with the blue gradient on the seat and lap, radiant rays on the knees, and of course bright creasing reminiscent of the sun peaking through your window shades, these jeans are the full package. The only slight bummer is that the ‘dirty‘ dusty brown cotton warp yarns haven’t really come through as promised by N&F, but maybe Bruno can keep chipping away at the indigo to see if that dirtiness can come through over the next couple of years. Keep us posted, dude.
