ONI Denim surprises everyone with the ONI Tee. I don’t think we’re alone in not exactly expecting the cult-favorite Japanese denim brand to be dropping some high-quality basics on us like this, but here we are, and we’re not even the tiniest bit mad about it. Where are my t-shirt heads at?
These appear to be a very solid candidate in the list of god-tier quality tees to try. They’re a breezy Japanese-milled 8oz., 100% cotton fabric, tubular knit with low tension. Read: They’re soft and slightly textured.
They’re detailed with a nice and chunky broad-stitch ribbed knit collar and hem, further distinguishing them from the wide array of choices out there. The ribbing alone elevated them into a category just above basic: Fancy basic. Perhaps most importantly: They’re wide-hem, AKA a boxy fit, so the shirt won’t cling to your BBQ belly. That’s a nice silhouette for summer, am I right? (I am right.)
The Oni T-01 Tee is available in white or black, has a single reinforced pocket at the breast, and is all manufactured in Japan.
Available for $130 at HINOYA.
