Get your trowel and spade at the ready, ‘cos this pair of Iron Heart IH-777-UHR is straight out of the garden. Over 9 months ago, Layton planted Iron Heart’s indigo seedling and it’s finally in full bloom. Working as a landscape gardener, Iron Heart literally sent Layton this sample pair of 777s for him to put through their paces and see how the denim faded after some true manual labor. And as a huge credit to Layton with under a year’s worth of time technically, he’s been able to inflict at least double damage.

With their purposely trashed appearance, we can clearly see ” my jeans look like this so the garden can look like this” type energy, here. With pockets of different blue shades throughout, it’s like denim tomatoes, lettuces, carrots, and potatoes over here. And with acres of creasing and fade lines, these jeans take us back to how denim used to be used in the early to mid-20th century.
