If you’re like me and scouring the internet for old clothes is a pass-time, you might have come across Bob Dong MFG Co. in searches for workwear, military, athletic wear, etc. But when it comes to wear testing and reviews, there isn’t much out there. However, with the latest Fade Friday submission, Josh in the UK is killing two birds with one stone: demystifying Bob Dong while giving HBT some time in the spotlight.

In his possession for 5 years, Josh’s Selvedge HBT Officer pants have been a trusted member of the wardrobe rotation getting airtime at least once a week but more often than not, several times a week. Through crotch blowouts and cuff fraying, these pants show their age on their proverbial sleeves through some one-of-a-kind repair work but also the nicely broken-in fabric feel and tan shade they earned after tons of washes. Something tells me we could be seeing more BD MFG in the future after this first-hand account of how durable they are.
