De Bonne Facture & Gloverall Issue Duffle Coat in Mulesing-Free Scottish Check Wool

Holy Mulesing’-Free moly. This De Bonne Facture x Gloverall Heavy Sonsie Tweed Duffle Coat in Undyed Shepherd’s Check is beefy. This rugged vintage-style duffle coat has been updated with sophisticated details, like its use of a gorgeous 24 oz. Tartan Check fabric from pride of Scotland, Lovat Mill®. Built the exact same way they were in the past by Gloverall in the UK, these heavy-duty Duffle Coats are functional and operate easily in the cold.

Absolutely packed with details, these Duffles are made with an old-school roomy fit reminiscent of original Gloverall pieces, and the aforementioned 24 oz. Check uses mulesing-free wool in its milling, addressing ethical concerns in the wool industry whilst offering a unique and show-stopping fabric. The coat is unlined, with details like set-in sleeves, throat latch on its roomy hood, reinforcing yoke at the shoulder, natural rope and wooden toggle closures on the front placket (as well as attractive genuine horn buttons), hand-warming patch pockets at the front, adjustable cuffs, and a herringbone grosgrain trim throughout.
