Sugar Cane’s Okinawa Denim Jumps Up a Weight Class

Sign me up for Sugar Cane’s new jeans. If you’re a fan of their Okinawa denim, this one adds a little extra beef, tipping the scales to 16.25oz. It might not have the same sugar cane fiber content as their OG version (20/80 sugar cane/cotton compared to 50/50), but it still retains the soft hand and character that we’ve come to adore from the Sugar Cane brand.

The 304’s are a straight leg and they feature a button fly, hidden rivets, a deerskin patch, and arcuate-less back pockets. The extra weight will assure many years of wear without having to think about any repair, but they’re not too heavy to wear in the summer heat. And because it’s Okinawa denim, they’ll feel good right from the first wear.

Available for $265 at Self Edge.
