My jeans are still about 1.5-2 inches too long. Should I soak them?

Q: My jeans are still about 1.5-2 inches too long, should I continue to soak them? Or have them altered?

They will shrink a bit more the next time you wash them, but definitely not 1.5 – 2 inches more. The best next step is take them to a tailor and have them hemmed.
