Many brands have felt constrained by the two-season release cycle that is small clothing distribution. Understandably so, as the current system only gives brands two shots a year to show their wares. Well, Richmond’s Shockoe Atelier has had enough as this season they’re breaking up their fall collection into three weather appropriate capsules.

Above is the lookbook for their first early fall capsule, which features lighter layering pieces like flannels, vests, and light outerwear. The standouts, though, are still the denim (no biases here) in their Denim Blouson and Field Shirt, which combine classic silhouettes with Shockoe’s good eye for fabric selection.
