For today’s edition of Fade of the Day, we have a well-loved pair of Oni 512, brought to us by Danny Jankiewicz of Chicago. Oni is known for their slubby, irregular fabrics, and today’s Fade is no exception.
A skinny fit and rough fabric will always help the fade process, especially when you do a lot of walking like Danny does. The honeycombs are forming well, with whiskers and pocket fade also making their way through. The abrasive fabric has taken its toll on the crotch, which has blown out and is about to be sent in for repair. We say it’s worth it; just check the close-ups for a real idea of the slub!
