Denim aficionado ‘Loveusame’ sent in this incredible fade submission featuring his Jeansda Phoenix Indigo jeans for Today’s Fade of the Day. For about the past three years, Loveusame has been painstakingly documenting the fade progression in a sweet little time-lapse video dubbed ‘My Denim Diary’, which you can find on his Instagram.

The jeans themselves have transformed into an artistic expression rather than a fashion staple. The dye has all but disappeared, the honeycombs appear to have almost a relief pattern to them, whereas the whiskers are barely noticeable at this point. The custom repairs are extensive, with handstitched sashiko style patchwork all over the knees, crotch, and pockets. These jeans have been loved.
