Fade of the Day – Denime 66 (2 Years, Unknown Washes)

Founded all the way back in the ’80s, Denime is one of Japan’s OG denim brands that doesn’t pop up in our fade inbox too often. When they do, however, it’s always a treat. This pair of 66s was worn by Dimas Satrio Utomo, of Indonesia, for close to two-and-a-half years and are packed with those vintage-looking fades that will make anyone long for the comfort and fit of their own beat up pair of Old Faithful blue jeans.

To us, these jeans hit all the right fade combinations. The thighs are dirty and discolored, while still maintaining some contrasting darker indigo tones in the whiskers. The honeycombs are subtle yet well-formed, and there are even some signs of stacking around the ankles. Dimas tells us he spends a lot of time hanging with friends, and if we were to guess based on how his jeans look, we’d say they spend their fair share of time out and about.
