As Amy Leverton brilliantly covered in her exposé on the Italian premium denim scene, the Latin weaving masters are hard at work to create an artfully crafted product. One of the key contributors to that arena is Berto, and their premium lines Blue Selvedge and Mazinni No. 11.
Both sublines look to push the boundaries of what Italian denim is capable of — Blue Selvedge with heritage indigo designs and Mazinni with forward-thinking designs. And the mill Berto uses as a whole recently released a lookbook, prominently featuring their weaving and finishing facilities along with some highlights of new fabrics.
