Today’s Fade Of The Day comes to us from the western portion of North Carolina, via Cimarron Aflague and his nine-month-old Iron Heart SExIH01’s. While these might not be the most descriptive images—lay-down shots of the jeans are always best—you do get a clear sense of the sheer amount of fading from hard-wearing ranching and horse work.

From just under the knee all the way up the front of the jean there is a considerable amount of indigo loss, which is producing some super-contrasty whiskers streaking diagonally from the knee up the thigh and also in a more horizontal fashion at the lap. On the back side we can see some honeycombing setting in, but it’s not quite as far along in the process as the front of the jean. We’re more keen on the camian crocodile leather wallet fade in the right rear pocket—it almost looks like a hand grenade fade!

Good fades for nine months and one wash, and we bet these will look incredible in another year.
