Fade of the Day – A.P.C. New Standard (20 Months, 1 Wash, 3 Soaks)

A.P.C. has a long-running reputation amongst denim heads and today’s Fade of the Day is a good example of why. Davide Chuck of Milan, Italy, wore these New Standards for the last two and a half years and the time he put into them yielded some classic fades.

Davide didn’t give us any details on how he achieved this wear, but it doesn’t take much in this fast-fading 12 oz. selvedge. The muted blues and steely whites act as a backdrop to a sea of whiskering, stacking, and honeycombs.

The seat shows pops of white where items were stored in the back pockets, but that crotch blowout just below needs some attention if these jeans are to continue their fading journey.
